PARISH PRAYER LIST

Prayer Chain: The following parishioners have offered to pray for the needs of our parish, community, etc. If you ever have need of prayers because of illness in your family, problems, etc., please feel free to call the first person on the list and your request for prayers will be passed on. If that person is not available to take your request, please call the second person on the list, the third, etc., until you reach someone. No request is too insignificant. The term “special intention” may be used to insure privacy. Your request should complete the circle within 13 hours. We ask all “pray-ers” to take this list and tack it onto their refrigerator or bulletin board so it is handy when needed. You are also asked to remember to pass on prayer requests only; save your normal telephone conversation for another time so that the prayer request gets top priority and gets passed on as soon as possible. If you get an answering machine, please leave a message and then call the next person on the list.

PRAYER FOR THE SICK:
Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of our community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering, may they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken bones whole, and free downcast spirits. These special people find lasting health and deliverance, and join us in thanking you for all your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed.
